My mind just had a ding ding moment. Hints of regular Dwarfs (Steampunk) and as you say hints of Chaos Dwarfs.. And there is also mention of Fire slayers teaming up with Chaos if the price is right soooo... A Duardin Battletome consisting of Steampunk Duardin, Fyreslayers and Chaos Duardin. You can only field steampunk as order and CD as chaos however Fyreslayers will be a cross GA faction? Add in the dispossessed and you have a pretty meaty battletome that caters for the GAs

I think it is a dwarf based on the nose and other dwarfish details. Is it confirmed a mage or was that just speculation from the stream? I think it could be a dwarf priest of some kind. Perhaps these dwarfs have some descendant from Fyreslayers and therefore some fire priests still bestow the power of flame. Or maybe its our first clothed fire slayer. Surely he would not commit such a crime against his naked brethren traditions!

I hope we are still going to have what you say. I think there will still be bonuses for being specific i.e Fyreslayers. I think this way however allows you to expand if you want to without taking a generic GA penalty. I.e Fyrelslayers will get a duardin bonus for taking Steampunk or Disposessed. Which brings them together more rather than currently having a Fyreslayer army with Disspossessed no different from a fireslayers army with sylvaneth

This news about the IoB box puts all my thoughts about aelves into the air. We know why GW are re-releasing these, its to clear the stock. I've got to question the timing though. Why have so much mystery about the Aelves, then bring back discontinued models? One explanation is that these are the Highborn of Azyr and will continue to be, which will mean we will see re basing and release of the entire faction at some point. Similar to Fyreslayers there will be new Aelves that are there own enitity. But then why have they not rebased/rereleased disppossed post Fyreslayers? Im now thinking that we might not get a re-release of the existing highborn and these are merely one of those extra "bye"s you say when your ending a phone call. Its not needed but you still say it and it the end of the day the conversations over. In other words your buying these models and will never see any new models for Highborn Azyr and instead you will have to gradually cross over to "Light" Aelves if you want some new models. But really, who knows!!!!
