  2. I've always been excited about new additions to the Games Workshop paint range, especially when they tie into my army. Although my color scheme is set, I knew I wanted to give Hexwraith Flame and Nighthaunt Gloom a spin to see how they worked and have them available for future projects. So, how do they work, and most importantly, how do they compare to the old standby, Nihilahk Oxide? Read more »View the full article

  4. Guy Haley is one of the most prolific writers at Black Library and his novels are consistently some of the best ones out there. Dante surprised me with the unique way it handled a Space Marine story, giving us something that stands out from all of the other 40k novels out there. This was followed up with The Devastation of Baal, a sequel that succeeds in continuing the story while also covering one of the most pivotal moments in the new 40k narrative. Today, Guy talks to us about everything Blood Angels, 40k, and even the Mortal Realms! Read more »View the full article

    REVIEW: Stormcast Eternals Battletome

The launch of Age of Sigmar second edition sees the Stormcast Eternals Battletome return anew, fresh from its reforging, and bursting with new lore, artwork, and rules. After three previous Stormcast books, what does this one contain? A surprisingly good amount of new material actually! Read more »View the full article

    REVIEW: Nighthaunt Battletome

The Nighthaunts have been a favorite of mine for over a year now, starting before they even had Allegiance Abilities in the 2017 General's Handbook. When I saw that they were getting their very own Battletome I was beyond excited, and let me tell you, I was not disappointed. So, what makes up the processions of Lady Olynder? REVIEW: Malign Sorcery

One of the most exciting new additions in this edition of Age of Sigmar is Malign Sorcery and the Endless Spells it contains. Complete as its own boxset with 13 unique spells and a full book of lore, scenarios, and rules, it's definitely on most gamers' radars. So what exactly does this magical expansion contain? 11. One of the most impressive parts of the Soul Wars box set is the brand new hardcover core rulebook for Age of Sigmar! This is something we didn't have in the first edition of the game and something I was greatly looking forward to. Not only does it have all of the core rules, the three ways to play, scenarios, advanced rules, and allegiance abilities in it, but it has lore. A ton of it! Let's crack it open and take a look. REVIEW: The Devastation of Baal

Dante was a surprise favorite for me when it came out. It was astoundingly good and deviated a lot from what you might expect from a Space Marine novel. The Devastation of Baal is the quasi sequel/follow up to it that carries us though the tyranid assault on the Blood Angels' homeworld and into the new future of 40k. So, does Guy Haley continue to carry the Blood Angel torch high in this one? Read more »View the full article
