Hello! I decided to start a sons of behematarmy. Most likely it will never be finished due to my total lack of ability to fokus on any one project at a time, but anyhow, this is where I am at the moment, I tried to make the bases in a deep forrest-esque theme. Pretty content with the outcome.

I’m going to start a grand rebasing of my old giants. On GWs webpage it doesn’t say what oval base the gargant kit comes with, and the old AoS base size chart is from 2018. In the chart from 2018 it says the gargant should be on a 90x52 mm oval base. Can anyone who bought a kit recently confirm this size? Thanks in advance! Edit: nevermind, found the updated base size chart from december 2019. 90x52 it is!

Right. Sorry for this picture heavy post, but it will also be the last post from me in this thread as the army is finished. I really enjoyed painting it, as it has so many conversion possibilities. Now I will impatiently await the sons of behemat!

The hunter has the beastclaw raider keyword so afaik the list should be legit.

I had a mini tournament last weekend with my pure BCR. The list i brought was this: - Mawtribe: Boulderhead Leaders Frostlord on Stonehorn (400) - Artefact: Brand of the Svard - Mount Trait: Black Clatterhorn Frostlord on Stonehorn (400) - Mount Trait: Frosthoof Bull Frostlord on Stonehorn (400) - Mount Trait: Old Granitetooth Icebrow Hunter (120) - General - Trait: Lord of Beasts Battleline 4 x Frost Sabres (80) 4 x Mournfang Pack (280) - Gargant Hackers Stonehorn Beastriders (300) Total: 1980 / 2000 I met a flesh eater list and won, and a stardrake + prime list and won. I lost against a nasty skryre list with 9 stormfiends and double WLCs. My humble analysis after this event is that the ”monster counts as 10 models”-rule is awesome! Makes holding objectives so much easier. Also the ”dig deep your heels” ability makes for much more reliable damage output.

Thanks for the input. But why is the cloak bad? I’ve tried both the cloak and etheral amulet and found that the cloak was gamewinning a few times due to some poorly guarded objectives my opponent thought was at a safe distance...

Hi! I’ve been toying with an idea ever since GH2018 came out with the costreduction for frostlords. I was hoping some of you more seasoned players could give me some feedback on it? Is it just plain stupid or could it work? Of course there are alot of lists/scenarios it will not work against, but maybe some that it will? Before I start buying stuff, I would greatly apreciate some insight. I have tried both the etheral amulet (ignore rend) and thermalrider cloak in different tournament. In my opinion the cloak is way better and makes the frostlord a very versatile model. Instead of alphastriking with him, I keep him back in the beginning of the battle and fly him forward in later turns to grab poorly guarded objectives or to mop up a decimated unit. I should add that I usually run the cloaklord in a mixed destrolist with a lot of moonclan grots...
