I've been trying to figure out a list for a tournament in May. Would/could something like this be any good? So just to make sure I understand clearly: The trolls are currently undercosted but I should avoid investing heavily in a unit that's headed for an errata - is that what you meant? ? EDIT: Having checked the scroll for Fellwater Troggoths, I'm not so sure 180 points for 9 attacks with rend and damage 2 is that crazy. They seem to be costed in line with other trolls.

What's everyone's feelings on/experiences with Tamurkhan's Horde? I'm thinking about getting the big guy himself and maybe a couple of Plague Ogres and roll it all into a wonderful, themed Mortal/Rotbringer force. The mandatory artefact doesn't strike me as amazing, but all of those charge bonuses look real tasty...

I'm with @jondoe297 and @Sangfroid. I always treated the unit as a "retreating unit" for the rest of its turn. The mentioned shenanigans would be pretty tasty though...

Big hand to @DerZauberer and @Malakree, I can't really find specifics to reply to but you've given me some tasty food for thought. I recently got a second Mawkrusha (which I'll build as the big bad G, obviously) so I'll definitely try the Gordrakkfist* as well. * - that'd be a maxed out Ironfist in an army with Gordrakk, yes?

Recently got back into Ironjawz after taking Nurgle for a spin and for starters, thank you to everyone who has contributed here. This thread is a goldmine. I'm gonna start practicing with a Bloodtoof list soon but I got curious about what typically goes in an Ironfist list and how it's playstyle differs from the massive alphastrike of the Bloodtoof build (someone mentioned the Ironfist list as one of Ironjawz better builds a page or two back). Thanks again for all the inspiration!
