I just hope I can still play my Troggoth army once they make this change.

The Rockguts were just tanks along with the Troggboss. The sporesplattas were probably the least impressive unit. The grots were phenomenal with their nets ability and just wouldn’t die. He obviously had more fast moving units which forced me to guard my objectives. I had the game in turn 4 but he rolled his backside off with some ward saves against my bosses’ attacks. Just bad luck, but we still had fun.

Played a Nighthaunt army yesterday with a club buddy. Squigs took it by turn 3. I have a rematch against Stormcast with Ionus today. Those lightning zombies want to deep fry my tater tots. I’ll send pics later today.

Not at all, actually. Ionus tried to make an impact but the squigs ate most of his unit’s before Ionus could make a difference. Do not underestimate the impact of Grinkrat’s strike on death. It literally won me the game. Squig herds are a vicious opponent to face when backed up by Grinkrat.

Had my first game against Stormcast today. Squigs went wild on those stormies.

I need some experienced Sylvaneth player’s advice. My question is about the Envoys of the Everqueen rule for Kurnoth Hunters. It says that any unit wholly within 6” of the objective is treated as being within an overgrown terrain feature. Because of this, do you get a cover save of +1 because it is treated as a terrain feature?

It will be interesting to see if those leaked sprues are new ghouls or some form of grave guard like unit for 5he ghouls.

I imagine they would like to reveal the FEC at Warhammer Day in a couple of weeks. It makes sense to release it for Halloween 🎃, but I doubt it. Also, I’d love to know if we’re getting a big box or just a splash release.

It’s fine. As long as the list is fun for you and your crew, have at it. Otherwise, we have these great models that never get seen on a table.

It’s a typical Nagash list. It really depends on what your facing. If you’re asking the classic question of yourself, what am I trying to accomplish, you’ll find in most cases it’s a goof army. However, goof armies have their place in the greater meta. If nothing else, they test the durability of your super heroes.

I simply don’t care about the lore anymore. When they blew up the Old World, it was a futile attempt to recreate something that simply can’t be reproduced. In my opinion, they blew up the Old World because they lacked the creativity to save it. You could have easily switched to AoS rules and kept the Old World alive and well. There was so much more to explore and that opportunity was taken from us due to laziness and a lack of creative vision. Ultimately, I just bounce my squigs and have a few laughs. Getting into the lore is no longer of any interest to me.
