So I try to play my KO competitively. I've had a decent amount of success in the statewide meta, but with Deepkin coming out I'm getting legitimately worried. Has anyone played a competitive game against them? Any winning strategies?

So I'm trying to figure out a competitive list other than Clown Car/Party Boat. Someone tell me why the following wouldn't work. Obviously artefacts and traits TBD, especially since I don't think I can use Endrinworks in a Tempest Eye list. Allegiance: Tempest's Eye Leaders Aether-Khemist (140) Lord-Ordinator (100) Battleline 10 x Arkanaut Company (120) -3x Light Skyhooks 10 x Arkanaut Company (120) -3x Light Skyhooks 10 x Arkanaut Company (120) 3x Light Skyhooks Units 12 x Endrinriggers (480) War Machines Arkanaut Ironclad (440) - Main Gun: Aethermatic Volley Cannon Arkanaut Ironclad (440) - Main Gun: Aethermatic Volley Cannon Total: 1960 / 2000 Allies: 0 / 400 Wounds: 100

The question to me is whether the helmets for female Kharadrons still have beards. Like is the beardhelmet aesthetic or is it supposed to be functional?

Question for you folks. I'm running a fairly standard Clown Car list for a tournament next weekend. However, I'm likely to be facing Fyreslayers for the first time. I know they can do all sorts of shenanigans with unmodifyable saves and deep strikes. Any pointers?

NOVA Open Warhammer Age of Sigmar Events

Chuck, followup question. There is currently some debate (it boils down to RAW v RAI and some keyword weirdness) whether or not the Harbingers (Lord Ordinator, Fungoid Shaman, etc) released with Malign Portents can be used in any army (so long as they share a Grand Alliance) as General without the army losing allegiance abilities. For instance, a Kharadron Overlords army using Barak-Nar rules but having a Lord Ordinator as general. There is also confusion as to whether this would use reinforcement points. Will NOVA be clarifying this for the purposes of the GT, or relying on GW to fix it? Edit: I'm aware this was addressed in the FAQ, but that actually didn't do much to clear up the RAW vs RAI confusion.

Hey there, Chuck. I think this is Chuck. Two questions. 1) Obviously you can't give me any exacts, but do you know roughly when we can expect to see the scenarios for this year's tournament? 2) I know Games Workshop's community team will be in attendance this year covering the 40k GT. Will the AoS GT also be getting any streaming coverage this year? My team and I look forward to seeing you in September.

Oh of course. I posted it a couple pages back but here it is again. I feel I have a solid grasp of theory. I've played a few test games and have gone 3-1. Just still don't know what to be super worried about and how to counter it.

So I have my first ever Age of Sigmar tournament on Sunday, using GHB17 missions. Any advice for a newbie?

    Heroforge for Proxies/Coversions?

Good afternoon, all. I'm brainstorming a conversion project (female Kharadron Overlords Navigator) for a narrative event coming up. So far the selection of conversion-ready female dwarf heads has proven...lackluster. However, the 3D printed custom miniature company "Heroforge" now offers miniatures in what appears to be GW-style gray plastic. I fiddled around with it and got a design close to what I'm actually looking for. Has anyone used this service for custom AoS miniatures before? How does the scale stack up, and how is the quality?

Yeah, planningand preparing for double turns is something I'm still struggling with, coming from 40k. Also having to work out target priority for armies I'm very unfamiliar with. I already know that there's a deep striking Fireslayers force that is gonna give me a lot of trouble.

So I take it this is the place to post lists? I'm fairly new, only have two games under my belt. Have a tournament at the end of the month, wrote this up. Was told on Facebook I'd come up with something called a "clown car" build. Barak-Zilfen Footnote: No Trading With Some People Warlord Trait: Fleetmaster -Heroes- Aether-Khemist (General) with Earbuster Aether-Khemist Arkanaut Admiral -Battleline- 10 Arkanauts w/ 3 Skyhooks 10 Arkanauts w/ 3 Skyhooks 10 Arkanauts w/ 3 Skypikes -Units- 9 Endrinriggers w/ 2 Grapnel Launchers 12 Skywardens w/ 4 Volley Guns & 4 Drill Cannons -War Machines- 1 Ironclad w/ Volley Cannon, Aetherspheric Endrins The general strategy is to drop one Company on an objective, hopefully behind cover. Deploy the Ironclad (with the rest of the army embarked) forward to try and bait a counter-deployment, then use Fleetmaster to redeploy it into the atmosphere. With only two drops, I can control first turn priority, and I will almost always be able to go first. Ironclad drops down, deploys screen of Arkanauts and Wardens/Riggers which are buffed by the Khemists. Riggers use Grapnels to all but guarantee a charge on whatever really needs to die, while Wardens soften up targets with fire support. Ironclad provides a mobile fire base to which Riggers can retreat, using a combination of the Barak-Zilfen run and shoot ability and the embarked Admiral to fly (heh) across the board claiming objectives. Thoughts?

    From the skies, I come!

Hey all! New player here. I have played 40k for a couple of years, but disillusionment with my T'au has led me to finally taking the plunge and building my Kharadron Overlords army. So far I have just over 2000 points built, though somehow a couple of my Arkanauts went missing so I have to proxy them for now. WIP pic. Not shown: my frigate, which I buggered up the paint job on so it is currently marinating in Simple Green. I have two games under my belt, and am already signed up for both a tournament at the end of the month and a Narrative event in March. Excited to learn! Also, torpedoes never hit anything and it pisses me off.
