Treacherous Bond

Hi all,

Just a quick question to forestall any arguing at a battle I am playing later on today.

 

I have taken a Mortal Tzeentch Wizard, who I have given the Treacherous Bond spell from the DoT book. If I were to link this Wizard to a unit of Chaos Warriors I also have in the army, would they get their own armour save against any non-mortal wounds passed on to them through the spell? I assume as any mortal wounds passed to them would be covered by their shields, normal wounds would still have to get past their armour.

No, the wound has already been suffered, so armour saves would not apply.
The runeshield would still work against mortal wounds though by a strict reading (suffers).
