Battleplans will be the last 3 in GHB. So heroes count. The LCoD and Concussors are much tougher than the retributors. Retributors resist mw's better due to number of wounds in the unit. I am torn! Who's got that juicy feedback? BeastsAndBrews Posted February 1, 2017 Share Posted February 1, 2017 I'm going into a 1k tourney in April and the list I have is : Lord celestant Lord castellant Liberators ×1 Judicators ×2 Prosecutors w/ hammers ×1 Concussers ×1 Now I don't have any alpha strike, but I do have a good mix of shooting and fast attack, along with being able to give my first in combat unit a plus one save and on 7+ heal a wound. Yes. I modelled it that way based on rule of cool long ago and mostly regret it but I've found it has some uses. Specifically well armoured units of at least 5. Mathematically I'm not sure if those uses are still better with a prime with a shock bolt. Approx 3 - 1 rend saves v 2 mw? 2nd reason is that the rules of tourney (in a week) would allow new warscrolls for existing units from the new sce battletome. Not any other rules in that book. I figured they might buff the crossbow special. But just after submitting it was revealed the tome is probably coming a week later than expected so that's no longer anything to consider Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Turragor Posted February 6, 2017 Author Share Posted February 6, 2017 Lists for the tourney are available for all to see now and I can see I've got: Stormcast Mirror Match (near enough) Legion of Azgorh with 2 magma cannons and dazroath Khorne Daemons with Belakor and Sayl Tomb Kings (6 ushabti and 10 skeleton horsemen) Beastclaw (frostlord on stonehorn and thundertusk beastclaw riders) Ironjawz with two megabosses and many brutes and ironfist Order Draconis Exciting! I finished in the middle somewhere with 1 W 1 D 1 L I beat the beastclaw list, lost to Sayl/Belakor Khorne and drew against the Ironjawz.
