I was originally down for 5 Blightkings tomorrow. 6 Chaos Warriors Epidemus All I managed were my blightkings, but I think I did them proud. I have already attached photos so won't be showing them again. For my personal stuff I have glued together a Treelord and 5 Tree-Revenants. Kramer Posted February 28, 2017 Share Posted February 28, 2017 Well last month was a very successful one for my company but as a result didn't complete this months contract. I did finish up everything lying around waiting to be painted: i also got the final parts for my slaaneshi Spartans. And build the first three test models: I finished my armour paint scheme on a chaos horse, started on the white dwarf 30th edition model but I'm still not happy with the test models for my deamonnettes. Can't get the skin tone right. So back to the sketching boards on that one. so all in all a fine month because I now have 2K ready of dark elves for the next campaign day but a lot left over. Routasydän Posted March 1, 2017 Share Posted March 1, 2017 My goal for february contract was mainly two Spite revenants, and I got those done, as well as 5 Dryads and my Drycha is half finished too! All in all a good hobbymonth for my standards and speed. BUT, it ties together really well, looks 'painterly' in caricatured in a way that often gets sacrificed to fussy details. I really like them. Think of it this way, it looks like they belong in Wind Waker rather than Twilight Princess, if you are down with Zelda references. Praecautus Posted March 2, 2017 Share Posted March 2, 2017 So I failed to paint my reavers, but did get the seraphon battle ready. I may not be at a high standard but I am pleased with these guys and I learnt a lot doing them. My son who is 8, also started painting his nomad prince, which is impressive when you consider his age and he did pretty much without supervision. I am going to teach him some layering and washing so make him pop a bit more. He plans to enter the prince in our gw beginner paint competition in the coming weeks. I did finished my Megaboss(except a few touch ups on the base) and built, undercoated and basecoated my brutes. Here are some pics.
