TalesOfSigmar
The Rebellion of Khorne - Part 8 Heung bellowed out orders to his fellow Bloodletters, the crescendo of the Juggernauts stampeding at full speed was second to none but the Herald of Khorne would make sure it's voice was heard above it. With a swift tug the Juggernauts veered left, a cloud of ground bone dust kicked up behind them, subtlety and cunningness was not in the repertoire for the Bloodcrushers but they knew their latest victims were near and that the blood of their enemies would flow soon. Ulrad looked to the horizon, though the Fyreslayer wasn't the tallest of his clan, he knew what was coming towards them. The rest of his brothers relished the battle with the Khorne as much as the next Slayer, but this new tribe was something unrivalled in power, their eagerness for bloodshed was unfounded. The ground begun to shake as the Juggernauts got nearer and nearer but this only drove Ulrad onto gripping his axe with more vigour. A few of the Slayers shouted commands, taunting the encroaching Bloodletters, but most stood still, axes at the ready, poised ready to strike. With an almighty crash the Juggernauts came stampeding over the crescent, the first brass-headed beast taking the nearest Slayer it could reach in its mouth and flinging like a ragdoll against a wall. Ulrad and his clan didn't need another invitation and charged head-on into the wave of Bloodcrushers. While the Khorne Daemons had the advantage with the sheer bulk of the Bloodcrushers the Fyreslayers used their size advantage to tackle the Juggernauts at the legs; after all if the Juggernauts couldn't move then the Bloodletters would have to meet the Slayers on foot. Heung realised the Fyreslayer's tactics and shouted warnings to his followers, for such small combatants these Duardin were trained in combat, their lust for blood was almost as great as themselves. But Heung knew coming back to The Exiled One empty handed would soon spell the end of his existence and he was sure that today would not be his last. Watching the Fyreslayers patterned movement for taking the Bloodcrushers down, he charged straight towards the nearest one. As the Fyreslayer ducked to take an axe to the knee of the Bloodcrusher Heung lurched his Juggernaut in the opposite direction, the Fyreslayer swinging at thin air and at the same time Heung brought his Blade of Blood down and lopped the Fyreslayer's head clean off with one swipe. The fellow Bloodcrushers took note of their Herald's tactics and followed suit, soon Fyreslayers were dropping one by one. The Bloodcrushers knew if they didn't stop moving they wouldn't get dragged down to fight at the Duardin's level. Heung rallied back around, the Herald had another victim in his sights and began his thundering charge with his trusted mount. Ulrad could see the larger Bloodletter coming for him, the bloodlust in the Khorne Daemon's eyes was like nothing he'd seen before, knowing this could be his last few moments he decided to meet this beast on his terms running straight towards the charging Bloodcrusher. Heung was surprised, his next victim was charging straight towards him rather than running in fear. He quickly kicked his Bloodcrusher speeding it up further, the Fyreslayer raised his axe and huge roar coming out of him as he headed straight towards the Herald. Ulrad was ready, he knew exactly what he was going to do and he was going to fell the mount first, followed by the Daemon. As the Bloodcrusher was a mere few feet away Ulrad readied himself to slide down to the legs but before he could do anything the Bloodletter on top launched itself off the Juggernaut, the last thing Ulrad saw was the Bloodletter flying through the air, the Daemon's sword point poised straight for his neck…
Grønlykke
Dieter von Steinhof - general 100 Udo Zimmermann – Priest Franz "Verrückt” Braunsweiger - steam tank 300 Maas Saxen – handgunners leader 100 Leopold Plecken – guard leader 80 ”They will hunts us down and hang us for treason... but not if we find it... Then we will be heroes and more important... we wil have a fighting chance!" The bald priest whispered to the two other men around the table. Dieter looked at his two old friends for a moment and drank from his beer. "Let's do it! I am only a Captain of the City Guard, but I know that Maas Saxen and Leopold Plecken will follow me... so that is 10 handgunners and 10 guards." Franz Braunsweiger emptied his beer and called for another round." Very well, you know I am in as long as it involves driving Gisela.. happy days ahead!” Udo frowned ”It will not be happy days!! It will be noticed that we... and especially that dammed tank of yours is missing... and people will not be happy..." Franz was about to said something about his beloved steam tank, but new beers where brought to their table and they all went silent. Dieter still smiled and then said "What a group we are; A fighter, a priest, and a crazy steam tank commandor set for saving the world...” They clanked their tankards together and drank before Dieter continued ”I will steal the war banner to night and by dawn I will walk out of the citygate with Mass and Leopold and their men and then you will follow when you can... it is settled then... lets change this bloody war!" Nixon
Well @Spiky Norman you did get lucky. @Grønlykke @Roar @Nixon against @Spiky Norman Last night the mighty forces of Order joined together to rid the realm of Nurgles infestation. We played the Monolith, 1700 points. Sylvaneth, Free People and Stormcasts against Chaos. Unfortunately we did not succeed in stopping the plague and stop the foul magic of the Monolith of Nurgle. Plague is now spreading throughout the realm and the mighty champions of order are dispersed and fighting among themselves once again. Will they ever be united? Will the powers of Chaos once again take hold? who will save the realm?

Spiky Norman
We were somewhat near the end, when we rolled our own PtG campaign into this campaign, so we were near the end as all of us almost had 10 points. As I was only 1 point from reaching 10, we decided to play a multiplayer match with all of the other 3 warbands ganging up on my poor Nurgle warband. We played the Monolith scenario, as it was a good proper possible ending to the campaign. As it was 3 on 1, I got as many points as the other warbands combined, but it turned out to be a pretty decent fight, although it simply takes too long to chew through the Nurgle units and I manage to finalize the ritual and raise the Monolith. 'Harold the Herald' (of Nurgle) turning out to be the victor is pretty undeserved through, as he have been one long disappointment. :-) But we have called the campaign for now, and will take a break over the holidays and start up on something new next year. If Rise of Empires, Realm Hoppers keeps going or restarts in the new year, maybe we can join with new forces :-)

Silent joe
Chaos dwarves v sylvaneth, capture the crystals! Warbands were as follows; Chaos dwarves, Bull centaur Taur'uk - general2 units of bull centaur renders2 units of infernal fireglaivesDaemonsmithMagma cannonDeath shrieker rocketSylvaneth,Treelord ancient - generalTreelordKurnoth Hunters - scythesKurnoth Hunters - bowsTree revenants.Chaos dwarves caught the sylvaneth napping letting them choose to have the first turn. The realmgates burst into life! Bull centaurs appearing seemingly from nowhere and immediately charged some unaware tree revenants No match for the cruel beasts! The double turn went to Dan, his realmgate however exploded with magic, leaving it unusable. A big charge from the ancient sent him crashing into my lines and straight into the war machines! Failing to kill it, however. Mortal wounds went flying toward the ancient bringing him near death - but with a single gesture broken boughs reform and the damage was all but undone! The Taur'uk materialized put of the realmgate and along with his retinue went charging for the treeman.Meanwhile scythe armed hunters cut down the stranded, second bull centaur unit.Turn 3 saw Crystal shards come raining from the heavens, the objective. Summoned plague toads made a leap toward them securing 2 while fireglaives and the Taur'uk picked up the shards that had landed close by.The sylvaneth realmgate burst back into life, confusing and mesmerizing the Taur'uk. Luckily his retinue managed to finish off the treeman.By turn 4 the ancient had pounded his way through the war machines and impaled the Daemonsmith! And started trudging toward the fireglaive lines. Taur'uk had moved toward the scythe hunters ready to finish off the depleted unit while his retinue ground away with bow armed hunters.Combined fire and axe blows against the scythes saw them brought low but not before one unit of fireglaives was smashed into the earth by the angry Treelord. As the final gasps of both forces came to pass the generals meet in the centre of the field, a battered and tired Taur'uk against a fresh ancient. Fleeing wasn't an option, no matter how logical! The Taur'uk put up a worthy fight, taking half of the ancients around but being knocked aside in return. Game over, 780 vps to the chaos dwarves and 780 vps for the sylvaneth. A draw! The dwarves however had collected 4 Crystal shards so retreated with the battered Lord with their objectives compete and a minor win under their belt.Win to the Legion! Chaos dwarf master race. Paul G
Next unit done, 5 Spite Revenants! Should see more progress from me soon, picked up the Darkroot Wargrove box! Following their initial meeting, Myrddin advised Lord Constantine and the rest of The Order to seek refuge with the Forest Spirits. Hoping to learn more of The Fulcrum from their masters, deducting that these beings may know something of The Fulcrum due to being able to communicate with them whilst on it! Eager to learn more of these creatures, Myrddin invited the leader of the group aboard The Fulcrum. "Tell me more of your people," Myrddin began. "We are much changed since the return of Chaos, many of my brothers are broken, something has snapped in them. They are spiteful, likely to attack their allies as much as their enemies if it means the protection of our race." "Hopefully they see the importance of this Fulcrum to our plans, otherwise we may be leading your people into great danger."
