Yup - @Moarhammer and I are driving down on the Friday so we'll be about, staying in the same place I think

That's awesome news, hopefully we can all have a bit of a get together for the evening.

Oh and that game preview for Game 1 is amazing! Can't wait to see the rest of the line ups covered.

Realm Hoppers Series: Episode 2, Cartha - The Treetop City.

So who is playing in the Realm of Beasts for their first game? @childoffang Vs @bennyp

What can we expect from their warbands?

Greg's Stormhost led by Juventia the Lightning's Fang, a mighty Lord Celestant on Dracoth has been sent to the Realm of Beasts to make contact with the Ghurium Beastclaw Raiders and try and reach a truce between them. Sigmar had heard of the large Crystal Shards growing around Cartha and ordered Juventia to capture as many as she could before they fell into the hands of the enemies. She was joined by 10 Judicators, 2 Fulminators and 5 Retributors. Could they navigate the wooden walkways to find Vuillard, Lord of the ice touched?

Vuillard was a hulk of an Ogor, wise beyond time, he had been one of the first to feel to cold winds of the the everlasting winter. He knew of the Sigmar mens approach and agreed to meet in the top levels of Cartha. He rode to war on his mighty thunder tusk, a behemoth of monstrous proportions and probably not suited to the wooden walkways in which he travelled. These treacherous paths could not hold his vast legions, so he took with him 2 Mournfang Riders and 1 Thundertusk Beaststrider. Their mission to capture the crystal before the stormcast, will they succeed?

In the heart of the city lies the font. Drink from this in the wrong time and you could find yourself transformed into an Ungor, drink in the time of man, and the purity of the waters will heal you beyond your initial capacity.

Looking forward to seeing this table.

A couple of easy Secondary Objectives that could be used -

Man or Beast? –With your general, drink from the fountain and see whether man or beast emerges or Let your opponent's General drink from the fountain and then battle and slay whatever arises from it.

Cavalry Wars – Achieve this by wiping out the unit of Fulminators using only the Mournfang in the combat phase or Achieve this by wiping out the unit of Mournfang using only the Fulminators in the combat phase

A few unique Characters are going to be blessing the event with their presence. But they will not follow an unknown General, the respect of these characters need to be earned. To field a unique character, you need to have certain amount of Renown points. Each unique character has a renown point value in which they can be unlocked.

The Characters available at the event are: Skarbrand, The Blue Scribes, Sayl the Faithless, Throt the Unclean, Gordrakk - The Fist of Gork and Drycha.

To unlock the Characters you will need the following amount of Renown points:

Skarbrand: 12 Renown points
The Blue Scribes: 5 Renown points
Sayl the Faithless: 10 Renown points
Throt the Unclean: 4 Renown Points
Gordrakk: 10 Renown points
Drycha: 8 Renown points

Only one of each named character can be fielded at any one time at the event.

Do the Renown points from the campaign go towards the value to unlock them or is it just Renown gained at the event?

That would have been too easy! Nope just renown points earned at the event. There are many ways to earn renown points during the game though... but earning renown points (collecting crystals and completing secondary objectives) may smean you have to sacrifice a major victory. hmmm decisions.

Realm Hoppers Series: Episode 3, The Endless Deserts

So who is playing in the Realm of Beasts for their first game? @Dangermouse425 Vs @TheUnknownPainter

What can we expect from the warbands?

Dan's Moonclan led by Spitnose, a brave little warboss found himself taking refuge in the dunes of the Endless Deserts in the Realm of Shyish, he and is band of 'warriors' had got themselves lost in the shifting sands. The scent of the free lands had even gotten lost to the many squigs in which Spitnose 'erded. Near death from dehydration, Spitnose saw a vision from GorkaMorka, a mission anew. He rose, full of energy and power and 'erded his troops together, dark crystals were there to be caught! In his warband and following his steps are his 2 trusted Moonclan Shaman, Gitnob and Niblit, a herd of 15 cave squigs, a couple of Herders, 20 Grots and 2 freshly caught Mangler squigs.

Papa Nurgle looked upon his discovery of The Endless Deserts as a blessing! A land devoid of life, a blank canvass in which he can plant his seed of corruption and fertilise with the ooze of his loins. He entrusted the capture of the Dark Crystals of the area, a necessity for the land to take hold to Epitaxis Grippe, a bulking mass of a Great Unclean one. Epitaxis smiled as he entered the Realm of Death a bellowed a sickly gurgle, joining him were Ascaris Scewlimb, his trusted Herald, his little minion nurglings, 3 Plague Drones and 30 Plague Bearers. Disease will soon be spread, The Endless Deserts will be tamed.

I shall be using the Times of War from the upcoming Tomb Kings battle tome by @Mengel Miniatures which can be found below!

Does anyone have any secondary objectives in mind for this epic battle that will soon commence?

The Power of Sobek: Rumours have spread that the Temple of Sobek emits power like never before. At the end of the battle have more models on or within 3" of the Temple of Sobek than your opponent.

Peskey Little Blighters: There's nothing more irritating than having Nurglings or Cave Squigs running about widly on the battlefield. Achieve this by wiping out the opponents Nurgling unit in combat or Achieve this by wiping out the opponents Cave Squig unit in combat.

Just wondering about entry into the event, @HobbyHammerdo you know the details at all?

With it being the Geek event at the same time, have a feeling it's going to be busy in the morning, is there a special way for us to get into the event/do we need tickets to enter before hand?

You are free to come and drop stuff down on Friday eve at the venue, and/or Saturday morning, Geek doesn't start until 11, we have special early access, your name will be on the door as a guest entry, but only us Geeks will be there between 9 and 11.
