I dont know how often i had wrote that and will write it in the future. A unit of 5 Sequitors can have 3 grandweapons. 2 for the unit, one for the prime. Look at the warscroll in gw homepage easy to build sequitors or inside the new battletome.

unit of 5 : 3 Grandmaces

unit of 10: 5 Grandmaces

unit of 15: 7 Grandmaces

units of 20: 9 Grandmaces

To your list, i think its a little bit too slow, you can drop sce 9“ away now, so you need a 9“ charge. I would either go for Hammers of Sigmar Stormhos+ Gavriel(+3“charge)or Chronomatic Coggs (+2“charge).

So -1x 5 Sequitors + 1 Gavriel and you will have a very strong 1000 points list. I had Won a small event at the weekend with a list most similiar to this. ( i had 2 units evocators and no balistas)

Nice list, I’m thinking of running the list below. Don’t want to run Gav as just feel everyone is trying to get on the GavBomb and want to be a bit different. Any thoughts on this 1000 list?

(ignore the greatmace incorrectness)

I don't recommend the castigator, they don't have a very good damage output compared to the ballista and they have too few models to capture objectives. Since there are only very few points left, I suggest change the castigator to a unit of skinks, which help your slow army, in my opinion, capture objectives more easily.

For skinks, I will go with the boltspitter and star-buckler. If you are going to use the skinks, remember that they are not used to make damage in a stormcast army. Don't expect them to do much damage. I usually use them to steal points from my opponent. Since they are fast and have a high bravery, and most importantly, they have ability to retreat up to 8' at the beginning of combat phase instead of fighting, they can just stay near the objective and outnumber your opponent for a long time if you can put them in a good position. For 1000 army, 1 unit will be enough. For a 1500 or 2000 army, I will take 2 unit.

I just realized you could use the skinks retreat rule to slingshot them onto an objective if you charge and then immediately retreat 8" you get a lot of extra movement at the expense of other units fighting second ofc.

I'll have to get 30 skinks for the tryhard lists i suppose :D i was considering dryads for cheaper bodies, but this rule nails it.
