Sharkbelly
Reading about this new terrain set has gotten me thinking... would this be useful in creating larger-scale scenarios for Warhammer Quest? According to the description, it comes with "a set of double-sided card tiles, letting you choose between the overgrown ruins on the outskirts of Hallowheart or a volcanic landscape from the Realm for Fire" Since these two worlds meet at Hammerhal, our heroes could venture forth from the city and explore either one. I can imagine a whole host of enemies they might meet in the two realms.
TheOtherJosh
Interesting ... would have to see how large the tiles are. The damage everything in the room concept might not work well though ... and distances might be a challenge. Though, running a skirmish game (after figuring out ranges) using Warhammer Quest stats might work well in a more rpg scenario. With the GM taking on the role of the adversaries ... as long as there’s enough terrain.
Sharkbelly
Indeed. It sounds like the complete layout is around 44" by 66". However, that's four 22" by 33" pieces. Those fold up into quarters. So 11: by 16.5". The other challenge would be scale. Warhammer quest tiles have squares that are around 32mm (or 1.25") wide. Abilities that target every enemy in the room might instead target every enemy within 10".
Lucio
The ruined walls work well for building an outdoor board, but I'd base them and use 32mm mdf bases to mark out the squares to use
