Roostmanuva
So I have taken pics of the stuff I have painted in the last few months. First up is a few more of the Ironjawz it looks like the brute photos are dead so I've taken some of those again. First up Megaboss, Shaman and Warchanter. next up brutes next Ard Boyz 1500 points as they stand at the moment. This afternoon I will take pictures of others projects I have done and wip. As well as what I'd like to achieve in 2017!
Roostmanuva
So here are some pics of the nurgle stuff I started, these are done vey quickly with washes but were very fun to paint. The whole start collecting box only took a couple of weeks which is pretty amazing for me. The jabberslythe was painted previous just changed his mane colour to match the army. Ademo
Fantsstic, I like the way they are unashamedly bright! They evoke an old school citadel minis feel - I love it! Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
Roostmanuva
Thanks for the comments guys! So I was fairly lucky with the Christmas pressies this here and got a nice little pile of AOS goodness. Today I had a day off work and had it to myself so I have made a start at this lot. My efforts are here I have base coated a few more dryads and undercoated the other hunters, hopefully more progress shortly. The Warhammer Tv twitch channel has really helped keep me entertained whilst painting these.
Roostmanuva
So had another day off and managed to finish the other 2 hunters, pretty pleased with them considering the time spent on them.

maxxev
oh wow those forest spirits are superb, can you give any pointers on how you achieved that brilliant paint work? Cheers
Roostmanuva
@maxxev Thanks mate, tbh these are just dry brushed and washed, I think it's the high contrast that people seem to like the bright pink against the really dark grey. The little bit of blue just helps to tie it together I hope. the#aos28 has really got me excited and I have made a start on a small chaos warband. Here are the results so far. Kaptan
I love the skin/scales color on the mawkrusha so I attempted to make a clone. I will be doing the rider differently though. My army's color theme is orange\bronze.
ArcheiosAggelos
The Sylvaneth scheme is very striking. What is your pink recipe?
Roostmanuva
So I painted all the Sylvaneth that I have, and they actually had a battle. We played a three way game from the generals handbook and they performed well, claiming a win versus Ironjawz and flesheater courts. It was a really enjoyable game and hope to play a bit more regular now as there seems to be a growing pressance in the local game store. The trees are below. Today I have made a start on the maggoth lord morbidex (love his smile). Still lots to do but liking how he is going at the moment. @ArcheiosAggelos the pink on the sylvaneth is simple, Vallejo pink base coat gw Baal red wash, the gw pink edge highlight then a bit of white. Roostmanuva
So I have painted quite a lot but not updated this log to often. Here I something I have been working on today almost finished but not too happy with a few details but may end up calling them done. Here are the Glotkin. Also converted a Castellant. Tommy
The mix of colours on the Glottkin is fantastic. Nice to see it come to life stage by stage too!
Roostmanuva
Finished some Blightkings so took the opportunity for group shot for all the nurgle so far. Phoenix wanted to be in last photo battling against the evil chaos ? !

Skrekkugle
Insane quality on these paintjobs and very popping and nice colors! May I ask what kind of grass and foliage you are using for your bases? I'm still stuck in 7th WHFB basewise..
Roostmanuva
@Skrekkugle thanks for the comment, the bases are mainly just generic tufts (jungle I think) and various foliage products from gale force nine. I like their meadow blend the best but have trouble sourcing it some times. I have had a busy day today I started painting Drycha Also I finished my Castellant conversion and repainted my Stormcast from silver to gold. Quite a productive day! GrimTeef
This has been an amazing and inspiring blog to see! Really nice stuff in here. Firing me up to paint my Ironjawz someday! The Nurgle stuff is really nice as well, washes on those minis are really the way to go, so natural and fast, it really suits them.

We are a few weeks in and this is what I have so far. The game store owner @StuG has also started a thread for his awesome looking Bonesplitterz! Check it out.
