I have a question about plague wind for a friend,

Plague wind, when successfully cast, tells the player to pick a point on the battlefield 14" away from the caster and draw a 1mm thick line between the caster ant the spot. Every model beneath that line suffers d3 mortal wounds, or heals d3 wounds if they are nurgle. Question is, dpesn the caster count as being beneath that line? My guess is No but my friends and I are curious if anyone else plays it differently.

The caster isn't on the line.

I thought they changed the wording to make this clearer (e.g. that the line has to be from the nearest to nearest of the caster to the target spot (so you cannot draw from the back of the model across itself),

The flavour text on the  warscroll suggests that he does benefit but the rules text implies he doesn’t... So I’d say no too.
