Uveron
Greetings, I have returned from the woods, and bring a new update for this PLog. This time I was to show off my pair of realm gates. I painted them as I have done most of my scenery with 'Poster Paints' and washes for the energy in the gates themselves I painted one in the same way I have been doing my Ghosts, and other in fire. I think they look good as a pair..
Uveron
Greetings, Today I Present my Lord of Plagues/Herald of Nurgle for my Nurgle army. Like my version of Skar this is a simple headswap so I can use him as a Herald in 40k. Other than that there isn't that much to say about him. So I will take a moment to talk about how I paint my Deamons. All my Deamons are painted with a grey base, and then painted in grays and whites. Once the Metallic s are done the whole model is hit with a wash. The Khorne Demons in Red, the Nurgle in Green. Then extra details on the skin are picked out in reds and yellows. I am trying to keep the same pallet so they can be be used in the same army and look consistent across the whole collection.
awcamawn
Dude... prolific. Your output is incredible and it all looks amazing. Stop it, you're inspiring me too much. The realmgates are such cool pieces, I'll have to pick up a pair if I ever get around to making a table of my own.

Oh this is not just stuff I painted that day... this is mostly stuff I have painted before joining this forum. I want to break each item into its own post, for future reference (I plan a set of links on the first page). But As I didn't want to spend ages building one mega post, I have decided to post a unit per day. Got about 5 more units to go with my Chaos stuff, then will have a bit of a break (just with posts of WIP and finished models) then I hope in late December to start again with my Death Collection. Uveron
Greetings! Today I present my collection of Nurglings, I have 12 bases of these guys. They represent me collecting these little guys for a few decades, and I have made the based by mixing in the different ages of the models. In 40K I run them in groups of 4, with one of the current' Tall piles in each unit which I swap around should anyone have LOS issues with the older style models. I hope you like the as much as I do! Uveron
Greetings! Today I present one of mt Chaos Sorcerer Lord on Foot. He was painted and converted right at the release of Age of Sigmar to allow me to summon daemons to the table. I disliked the mutated head and wanted something a little more 'Norse' to fit into my large block of barbarians I was building. So I made a head swap, and I have to say I like the look of the model. He isnt stealing anyone's show but he does add something to the table.
Uveron
Greetings! Today I want to present my small horde of Plague Bearers, I have 34 painted and I think this is photos of them all. Like my Nurselings this is a mix of Old Style and the new plastic kits. I found them to be very close in how they look and together they form a great looking battleline unit. Some Day I will paint another 26 to get to blocks of 30, but thats a long term goal.
Uveron
Greetings! Today I Present the oldest painted model in my current collection. I painted this guy back in 2011 when I was first getting back into the hobby (I have long since stripped the models that I painted before this guy). I still love the Chaos Spawn Kit, and think I may get another box to make spawns for my Khorne Army..
Uveron
Greetings! Today I present my Herald of Nurgle. He really has the same paint scheme as the Plague Bearers. I like this model kinda wish it wasnt so mono-pose as I want to get a few more for my Nurgle army. So I guess there is a conversion for the future somewhere in for another version of this model. Uveron
Greetings, Today I want to present my Bloodcrushers. Again like my last few posts these are nothing special, and I will focus on how I painted the Bloodletter more when I get some good photos of my bloodletters on foot. Uveron
Greetings, Almost at the end of my Chaos Collection now... And my painting rate has dropped off as I have gotten suck with some bad days in the office. Anyway the last of my Nurgle forces my 3 Plague Drones. I painted these guys in the same way that I have painted most of my Nurgle Deamons, and based the same way as the Prince.

Uveron
Greetings, I finally finished my next 10 blood reavers; I found these guys a challenge to paint just took a lot out of me. And then last week when I after I applied the earth shade, I noticed that as it was drying it was leaving white marks over the model. So after a bit of a panic I had to retouch the models to cover these areas. But finally they are done! And then I start on the last 10! Finally I was able to get my army on the table this weekend for a quick 1000pt game, and I have to say I am getting very happy with the look of them when in a large mob! Lysandestolpe
Wow, these look great. Very sexy nurgles, Realmgates, and bloodcrushers! The metal theme on the later is just great!

Iam debating how close to them I go with my normal Chaos Warriors when I pick them up. Its something I am giving some long thoughts too.
Uveron
So Christmass Day has Happened! I got a pile of presents: I also then got started on some conversions last night! Two Slaughter Priests, need to add Still Needs Greenstuff to clean up the joints, and mould lines to be filed off.
Uveron
Greetings, I spent a pleasant boxing day evening putting together a few more models. Thought I would share some pictures of my progress so far! Mostly so far the conversions have just been a bunch of head swaps. Blood Crushers: The one unit that I have finished, I used an arm from the chaos Knights kit for the champions Blood Glave, I akso used the heads from a Exalted Deathbringer kit. Blood Warriors: Used the Khornate Champion head from the Chaos Chariot kit, for the Champion. It looking kinda 'Orcish' so pondering painting with a green skin tone, maybe... otherwise still need to add the arms and add some extra details to the head. Chaos Warriors; I have just put the 'command squad' together..
Uveron
Greetings! Yesterday I traveled up to my local Games workshop store and spent the day assembling models (I had planned to get some games in, but things conspired against me). These were the guys I was able to get built so far. (Gaps still need to be green stuffed, and some edges need filing) Aspiring Deathbringer: Made a Head swap for something a bit simpler, and then added the over the top cloak from the chaos chariot kit. Fixed it as the angle so it looks like the whole model is in motion. (In my Mind swinging the hammer around for a mighty swing) Exalted Deathbringer: Built mostly Stock, but used the head from the Plastic Asspring Deathbringer kit, as well I liked the added motion of the head. Chaos Knights: Added a whole pile of parts from the Bloodcrusher kit and Blood Warrior kit. Wanted to make it very clear this unit was Khorne Marked. Blood Warriors: I finished putting arms on all the Blood Warriors.
Uveron
Greetings! Well yesterday I started a grand experiment, with temps below freezing in my house, but a desire to start painting I tried to work out the best way to prime some models. well I set up 2 space heaters in my garage and I was able to bring the temp up to a nice 50F, which when I opened the door gave me a few mins to get a few models sprayed. After I did that I then spend the next two days painting up my Slaughter Priests. Iam mostly happy with the paint jobs on them, I can see some spots that need a touch up (and the odd mold line I missed, and a bit of extra shading on the skull helmet), and before the any big events I will need to return to them to touch them up, but they are table ready! The Traitor
Some cool conversions in this thread, love "old style" Norse feeling you've got going on, it was that that made me start a Warriors of Chaos army so many years ago, back in Fantasy (and because of the lack of it that I wasn't motivated to continue them in AoS), and you capture that classic imagery perfectly! Uveron
Well it has been almost a year.... "what a year" Life happened alot and I stopped playing as much. But I have started over again! I have a number of projects on the go and I thought I would try and share a few of them here. (More updates will be attempted to happen more regularly) First up, a slighty odd Conversion, Iam working on a bloodthirster and have a number of bits spare. I decided to add one to the Chaos Giant kit, and made something much more... Terrifying. Next on the Painting Table I have a converted Slaughter priest, some Blood Reavers and a Warshrine. And then on the longer project I have started work on the parts I need for a display table.. (and battlefield scenery)
