SuperHappyTime
<Soapbox> Can I take a moment of everybody's time to address the topic? Why are we calling Warhammer Underworlds: Shadespire, "Shadespire"? The game is called "Warhammer Underworlds". "Shadespire" is only the first collection/set of figures and cards released. You're going to confuse a lot of new players when they come out with Warhammer Underworlds: Something-something-Skaven-Place and you keep calling the game Shadespire when referencing both games instead of just this first set. Stop it. </Soapbox>
TheOtherJosh
For the same reason that people don’t call it “Warhammer Age of Sigmar” and Call it AoS, or Sigmar, or Age of Sigmar. Or why they don’t call it “Warhammer Quest Shadows Over Hammerhal” it typically gets shortened to Hammerhal, or SoH. Or why people don’t refer to “Warhammer 40,000 Eighth Edition” ... and instead shortcut it to 40K. Its shorter and concise. And we all know what it means If there is an update, I'm sure that it will have a distinct name, and we’ll call the update by the short name there too. (And It’s easier to type on a small mobile keyboard. )
someone2040
To be honest, until they do actually release a 'new version' of Warhammer Underworlds in a different locale, Shadespire is fine. There's no confusion over what people mean when they call it Shadespire, so no issues.
Keldaur
I will even go further and call it Shades from now on.
