Martinsburg is in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia, about an hour and a half from DC, Baltimore and the NOVA region, and three hours from Philadelphia to the north and Richmond to the south.
Comprised of five rounds played over two days across eight custom-built tables, each battle will represent a pivotal point during the first year in the war for Aanbiddenstad, the lost, holy City of Worship. Even if you can’t make it back to play in 2019, the mark you make will be reflected in Mountaineer’s evolving narrative and tabletop terrain for years to come.
The player pack is available for download, below! Sixteen players will have to work in teams to take territory for their Grand Alliances while denying ground to their adversaries.
Tickets will be $45.00 for pre-reg before May 31st and $55.00 at the door. All registrants paid before May 5th will receive a custom Mountaineer NE 2018 pint glass! Tickets and pack available at http://mountaineergt.com/
Rooms are blocked off at the Comfort Inn Aikens Center for $79/night for singles or doubles. When calling, tell them you are with the “Mountaineer GT” for the block rate.

I am running another Skirmish event at Dogger HQ, located just outside of Dorchester in Dorset (if you want to attend, DM @Paul Buckler for directions).
This time, rather than doing it over a Thursday club night, it will be held on a Sunday. Hopefully this will make the journey more worthwhile for others. There is also the potential to play a full game of AoS once the event finishes (as we'll be done by 15:30).
As we have a little more time, I've expanded the scope of the event and we will be playing 4 games. We will also be using the Realm of Death artefacts, command abilities and mysterious terrain Skirmish tables from Malign Portents to add a bit of flavour. You can find the full pack here -
There are 16 spaces available, with trophies for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, Best Warband and Best Sports. Terrain is provided.
Tickets cost just £5 and can be purchased via Paypal (friends & family) to email@example.com
Hope to see a few new faces, Skirmish is great fun!
Tournament will take place on 16/06/2018 at the old headquarters of the Adeptus Mechanicus Warsaw club, Al.Krakowska 110/114 , the Airbus Military EADS PZL area. It is possible to park in the PZL. Below is a map indicating the club building. What we play: We're playing Age of Sigmar! on the basis of "matched play" of the official General's Handbook 2017, Battletoms and FAQ.
Rosters we prepare using the official application for 2k - Battlehost games. Additional details about "House rules" are completed in our FAQ.
For the last time we play in accordance to the current GH2017
Both players have the right to check the opponent's roster before the game begins. We must have a printed copy with us! Command Trait, artefacts, spells and prayers should be specified in the briefcase and can not be changed during the tournament.
We are playing 3 scenarios drawn from the OpenWar Cards. For each round we draw one of:
One deployment card One scenario card One Twist card Each round lasts 2.5 hours.
In the case of time running out, the score found at the time of time counts. If no scoring is given after the end of time, a tie will be entered. We do not play for golden long johns, it's about providing equal and fair conditions for all players.
Major victory - 17 points Minor victory - 12 points Draw - 7 points Minor loss - 5 points Major loss - 0 points By-pass - 12: 0 (no opponent's appearance in the battle) In each scenario, you can get one additional point for special tasks:
Kingslayer: killing the enemy general. Linebreaker: if at the end of the game you have your unit in enemy territory. First Blood: for the player who first kills the entire enemy unit. In addition, you can gain an additional 20 points for meeting the following hobby conditions:
5 TP = Properly prepared roster sent to the organizer on time 5 TP = Own cubes, rulers, markers, printed pendulum and warscrolles of your units. 0 TP = Unpainted army and / or unsealed models. 2 TP = Less than 50% of the painted army. 4 TP = Over half of the models painted 6TP = The army is fully painted. 1 TP = Molded bases throughout the army. 2 TP = Full WYSIWYG 1 TP = Different units are marked. (They can be easily distinguished) For the purpose of resolving the draws in the final scoring, we also count points for the killed full opponent's units.
What we play:
We do not play with potatoes! Realizing that this is only a hobby and we do not require a full WYSIWYG, proxies are acceptable within the limits of common sense, Forge World models and convertible models are allowed. Full painting of the army is not required, but the player who did it receives additional points. Own tools are required to play - cubes, scoops, pegs, warscrolle. In the case of the preparation of own usable Sylvaneth Wyldwood type, original sizes must be kept.

Our plot picks up after last year's events and focuses on portions of the realms that have been destroyed by Eristrat. Players sign up for two factions, attempting to Empower or Banish the godbeast. We've written story hooks to help players feel like either choice makes sense for their allegiance.
Something new that will be in our pack is a branching story, so the results of Game One lead to one of two possible battleplans for Game Two, each of which can spawn two possible outcomes for Game 3. We encourage the NEOs to construct the story of their event to join the overall narrative of Coalescence.
As part of this design, we know that NEOs won't have a good deal of ability to prep for all these possible games. To help this, we're designing these as smaller games that wrap quicker and give the players longer to consider their story
The course of the story is set as Banish or Empower wins games, but just like last year we'll find the winning team through other means besides straight victory. Look for something like last year's achievement scorecard, with even tighter integration into the story that's told through your games.
Like last year we'll tally the results of the individual events and use this to advance the story of Coalescence.
If you want to run Coalescence for your community, find your space for June 23rd! You will have the pack by the end of April.
Thanks to all the NEOs that provided feedback to make this event better.
