Thundercake 245 Posted March 15, 2017 nice and gory! the white seems a little thick to me. Did you use a wash on the armor? You may want to try a wash on part of the white next time, then highlight the edges of the white back up. Quote Link to comment
Obfuscate 8 Posted March 16, 2017 I agree that the paint applied is a bit thick. I am guessing its to stay vivid on top of the dark armour. A quick way to get around this may be to undercoat in white (not sure if you did or not) and then paint in the dark armour around the undercoat, tidying up mistakes as you go. The armour patches are quite large whereas the white parts are quite fiddly so you may find this an easier prospect. You get to keep your pure white as well as not making the application look to thick. Nice colour scheme though. I always enjoy seeing the bloodbound with alternative paint schemes. PaintingTentacle 4 Posted March 16, 2017 Thank you both. It will get a sepia wash and then highlight. The Murderfist make their armor from the bones of their enemies. So I have a bit of work to do to get that effect. Quote Link to comment
