The gang so far ...

Here is what I have so far. The Bloodbound models are recent and were designed to fit in with my precious models, which are more like the Soul Grinder and the Maulerfiend type model I have here. As I move through the Bloodbound, I'd love to share more of my work here.

Opinion needed on Khorne Ogroid

I've made this Ogroid a little Khornish and before I go further with it, I'm just looking at what I could run him as. He is big enough to fit a juggernaught profile. I think I like him as a Mighty Lord, but I'd love to know what you'd use him for. Once I know, I'm busting out the green stuff and getting this bad boy going.

Most metal bloodsecrator ever!!

Having a few drinks, I decided to make a few conversions. I love the insanely metal Exalted Deathbringer with spear. What an incredible model ... that will never hit the table! To make it more of a table staple, I made the savage headbanger into a bloodsecrator. Then I went a step further to make the bloodglaive into a better looking weapon. I hate that Klingon look, so I made it more of a giant axe. Please let me know what you think.

Khorne Lord on Giant Fleshhound

I'm working on this Khorne Lord conversions and have a ton of green stuff work to do, but I figured I'd share the progress here. He is made from bits from the Bloodthirster, bloodsecrator, Mighty Lord of Khorne, Lord Cellestant on Dracoth, Skullreapers and Slaughterpriest models!

Bloodthirster joins the Yellow Bloodbound

Well, after a ton of work, my Bloodthirster is finished. I have wanted to paint this kit for a year now and I finally got to it. I wanted to try the black based skin tone. It worked better than I expected and it made for some sick contrasts.  I used some techniques I've never tried, like filtering the colors near the bones on the wings with blood technical paints, which is a far departure from the blood spatter on the wing symbols.   i also sculpted some fire on the base and I am

20 Bloodreavers join Yellow Bloodbound

After many painful hours of painting, I have 20 bloodreavers to show. I kind of hate how detailed they are for how easy they are to kill, but I also love them once they are painted. The squad went in with my usual yellow theme, similar to my Bloodstoker.  Most of the base painting was actually done with multiple layers of inks and washes over a preshaded zenithal priming. This does lead to a lot of the same skin tone, so I do plan to experiment a little on future batches. I do lik
