About this blog

Hello everyone!

I would like to share my process of creating my Stormcast Eternals army. I've painted some regular Hammers of Sigmar before but I would now like to create my own Chamber with their own unique style and backstory. I tried a few different ideas but in the end I decided on a basic colour scheme. What  I came up with was red and silver. The red is supposed to look like it is almost burning hot, so I'm going with a red to orange gradient. I like having a cold silver for the armour to play against the hot colour red. Belts, bags and hilts are all just brown leather. I try to keep the different colours to a minimum. Trying to keep it simplistic might look cool when the army comes together. Finally gems and jewels are going to be green (green is opposite red in the colour scale). I have not yet decided on the feathers (for the helmets) or cloaks for the general, which I might do diffrently.

So I have just started and new ideas will probably surface. I will keep you updated on my progress. Below I attached pictures that show my first miniatures and how they look. I have just assembled a unit of Paladins and some of these guys even show their faces! They are next up on the painting table.

The Chamber is supposed to be Sigmar's most devoted and almost fanatic followers and warriors. They strike a burning hot judgement and truly despise Chaos. I have yet to decide on a name... and everything about them is just getting started.

If you have any ideas, please comment! About the name, story or painting!

Thanks for reading.
Max
